Location: Tempe, Arizona
ISTB7, short for Interdisciplinary Science & Technology Building 7, is the new high- performance research facility at Arizona State University. The building is approximately 281,000 square feet and will house Global Futures, the School of Sustainability, and the Institute of Human Origins.
In addition, the building will have research labs for biological sciences, engineering, life sciences, and sustainability. The $192 million building began construction in 2019 and is set to be open in December 2021.
FDR provided the structural engineering for the light gauge steel framing for this project.
