Country Inn & Suites, Asheville

The Country Inn & Suites is a four-story, 94-room hotel predominantly wood-framed with masonry stairwells and some steel framing. Roof framing consists of wooden roof trusses and floor framing consists of wooden floor trusses. The project incorporates engineered lumber such as glulams and LVLs. Simpson holdowns within wood-framed shear walls, at each level, comprise the internal lateral-resisting element of the building.
